Friends and Fun Club is a social engagement program designed for young adults ages 18 and above with diverse abilities.
The program provides a safe, friendly, and supportive space where participants can connect with others, enjoy fun activities, build confidence, and practice social interaction.
Activities may include games, arts and crafts, music, Lego, Scratch coding, group sharing, and other recreational activities. The goal is not only to have fun, but also to create meaningful opportunities for friendship, communication, creativity, and community participation.
High school volunteers play an important role in this program. Volunteers help welcome participants, support activities, encourage participation, model positive social interaction, and create a warm and inclusive environment. Through volunteering, students can gain valuable experience in leadership, communication, teamwork, and serving individuals with diverse needs.
Friends and Fun Club is especially focused on young adults 18 and older, helping them enjoy social time, build connections, and feel included in the community.
