What a Joyful Day — Trunk-A-Treat 2025!
Two years ago, a tiny idea crossed my mind while I was at MeBe Learning Center. That small Trunk-A-Treat event had just six cars and a handful of kids… but the laughter and smiles stayed with me. Back then, I told myself: “Someday, I’ll host one in Fremont.”
I never imagined that “someday” would look like this.
Fast-forward to this year — after months of planning, setbacks, and uncertainty — we finally made it happen!
This little dream grew into 18 cars, 36 families, and more than 50 amazing kids joining us at Irvington High School for a day filled with candy, laughter, and community spirit.
I’ll be honest — there wasn’t much room to back out. With limited funding, just two of us organizing, and more families signing up every week, it felt like the arrow was already on the string — there was no turning back. So we took a deep breath and went for it.
And wow… seeing it all come together was pure joy. Watching the decorated cars, the smiling kids in costumes, and the families chatting and laughing — it reminded me why we started Bountiful Blossom in the first place. This wasn’t just an event — it was a celebration of inclusion, love, and community.
Huge THANK YOU to our amazing vehicle hosts who turned their trunks into colorful, creative displays and handed out candy with so much love.
Heartfelt thanks to every volunteer who helped with setup, games, check-in, and clean-up — you made everything run beautifully.
And to every family who came out to join us — *you are the reason this day felt so special.*
Standing there, seeing kids laughing and families connecting, I felt so much happiness — and gratitude. A simple idea became a joyful reality because of all of you.
Here’s to community, to courage, and to the magic that happens when people come together with open hearts.
